Business model adopted

A project-based billing model was adopted based on the estimated hours involved for the Arlington Road project. The project was executed with a turnaround time of over 5 months. Monthly invoices were raised proportionally to the progress of work performed.

Our scope of services

Advenser’s scope of service was modeling, clash detection, preparation of coordinated drawings for Architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical and plumbing components.

Project synopsis

This development venture at 7001 Arlington Road included a 150,000 sqft private and commercial building including 140 multi-family dwelling units with 15% MPDUs and 7,000 square feet of retail space along the property frontage.

Result

All the queries were prepared as issues or RFI’s and sent to the client for their endorsement. The issues were constantly followed up using the Issue tracker. A lead time was determined within which the RFI’s must have to be responded satisfactorily.
Using the MEP design drawings team Advenser was successful in creating a coordinated architectural & structural 3D model as the initial phase which was then used for MEP modeling which formed the second phase. Revit was used for modeling all elements and coordination/Clash detection and was carried out using both Revit and Navisworks Manage.
